This fabulously gorgeous sapphire necklace earrings set is composed of natural sapphire gemstones. (Gemstones are most likely heat treated per vendor.) The focal gems are comprised of light pink sapphires, reminiscent of spring cherry blossoms. Hence, the name Sakura. Beautiful fuschia pink teardrop briolettes and rondelles accent this necklace. Tiny but bright orange padparadscha sapphires are added for color and contrast. The smooth polished sapphire briolettes measure approximately 11 to 13 mm in length and 8 to 10 mm in width. There is a total of 15 smooth polished light pink sapphire briolettes in graduating sizes. This is an all sapphire piece and thus, carry a noticeable weight. I would have set this piece in genuine 14K gold if the price of gold did not skyrocket. This is how gorgeous these gems are.

Finished in gold vermeil with minimal gold-fill findings, this necklace measures exactly 17½-inches long. A very fancy ornate vermeil toggle clasp completes the design.

The earrings are completed with fancy vermeil earwires and measure approximately 2-inches from the bottom of the ear wire.
